How we do it

We aim to buy as many AED's as possible.


We need to identify key locations and install them across the West Midlands;

  • in town centres
  • villages/rural communities - at sports grounds, schools, train stations, the village shop or wherever they might be needed.

Application criteria;

  • Identification of a key person/s who will be trained by the WMAS in the use of the AED.
  • Commitment to keep the AED properly maintained and in working order and that it will only be used in appropriate circumstances and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.

Every application will be considered on its own merits.

Please understand that we have limited funds and therefore not every request will be successful yet rest assured we will do our very best to help out your community.
