An Ideal Spot For A HAJMT AED
The ideal spot for a HAJMT AED, the village hall at the heart of the community. Bill Rollo, Chairman of the Parish Council of the village of Weston-under-Redcastle in North Shropshire is seen here with Sally A-J and the village’s newly installed HAJMT AED.
The village of Weston-under-Redcastle was keen to apply for an AED as the area is populated with retired people as well as many visitors who enjoy walking and cycling around the stunning countryside. The village is also at the entrance of the Grade 1 heritage site of Hawkstone Park Follies with its dramatic landscape including gullies, caves, towers and bridges. Hawkstone Hotel is also nearby, which has two 18 hole golf courses, and in the winter provides a significant tourist attraction with Santa Claus opening his grotto at Christmas.
Weston-under-Redcastle holds a major annual show attended by many thousands each year, yet Weston still has that lovely typical feel of a small country English village.
