HAJMT WINS Community Initiative and Partnership Award
Sally, the founder and chairman of the Henry Angell-James Memorial Trust, won an award!
“On behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service, I would like to thank you for your support and dedication” wrote Anthony C. Marsh, Chief Executive Officer to Sally who won The Community Initiative and Partnership Award “for your generous donations of AED equipment within our communities”.
Due to the current situation with Covid, this year’s Excellence in the Community Awards ceremony was held virtually on 15th September. This event was held to honour members of the public from across the West Midlands region who have gone beyond the call of duty to help save lives and support the work of West Midlands Ambulance Service’s 4,500 staff.
It is a great opportunity for the West Midlands Ambulance Trust to recognise the efforts of Community First Responders, St John Ambulance, other emergency services and other voluntary organisations, businesses and individuals. The work that all of these people do ensures better patient outcomes and saving more lives.
